Yes, but not at all. The wheel is going to work with a 2.0 USB Cable for the Inputs, Led Output and Power Supply, otherwise the Screen will work with WLAN connection. We decided to go that way with the screen for a couple of reasons. The first is Reliability, sometimes USB 2.0 connections get in troubles while streaming dash signal, lot of leds infos and inputs, but in this way, we got the signal much more lighter, with the possibility to get longers cable too, up to 5 meters. Apart from that, WLAN connectivity allows us to develop more features, like the Dashboard Switcher for example and to get a faster signal from telemetry softwares. (Up to 60fps)
